Located near Lac Abitibi, the village of Clerval has so many things in store for you! A number of attractions can be seen, and nautical and aquatic activities can be practiced. You will notice that this region has a particular microclimate.
Rapide-Danseur is a very nice place to go hiking as it comprises beautiful rural parks. Each one of them allows you to explore different themes, such as history, geology, landscapes and natural phenomena. It contains ten parks situated along the two paths, La Promenade and La Lune.
By visiting Roquemaure, you will have the opportunity to see the Marsh Antoinne. It is a humid environment that stretches for 280 hectares – many animal and vegetal species can be observed. You will have the chance to reach the belvedere that looks down on the marsh by walking along an auto-interpretation path.
Do not forget to go to Verger de l’Île Nepawa, located in the heart of the region of Abitibi. You can see several varieties of fruit trees, such as apple trees, plum trees, cherry trees and raspberry trees.
