When winter settles in Abitibi-Témiscamingue, there is no reason for staying inside! Many activities are accessible during the winter season. In February, the event La Sarre en neige invites inhabitants and visitors to celebrate the joys of winter. Several activities are organized, like the snow sculpture contest, the rides in an ancient Bombardier snowmobile, a ride in a horse-drawn sleigh, as well as many more activities and contests.
