An Architectural Jewel
Because the mines drew so many people to the region during the gold rush of the beginning of the century, many ethnic communities came to settle in Val-d'Or. Russian immigrants built this church in 1955 in a traditional Russian architecture. You can visit the Musée des immigrants in order to better understand the important role that immigration played in the development of the region and read the information boards outside the church.
