Malartic

In the 1940s, Malartic had seven gold mines in operation. Still today, we can observe the houses’ facades that give the village a little western style. At the Musée minéralogique de l’Abitibi-Témiscamingue, you will learn more about minerals and you will be able to enjoy the transformation of the Earth’s geological landscape. You will also find collections, interactive animation and exhibitions.
