The city of Senneville was created in 1679 by two fur traders. They bought the kingdom of Boisbriand and renamed it Senneville, from the name of the city where one of the traders was born in France. In 2002, the city merged with other cities of the Montréal Island to create the new large city of Montréal. However, the city was re-formed in 2006.
A city of nature with its numerous forests, fields, lakes and farms, which provide the inhabitants with large green spaces, Senneville conceals charming ancestral houses on its territory. These houses have a great historical value. Other buildings in the city have been designed by great architects. Come admire them!
