Let Yourself be Fooled at the Festival du Documenteur de l'Abitibi-Témiscamingue!
This misleading festival takes place during three nights in Rouyn-Noranda. Mockumentaries of national and international calibers will be presented outside. Although it could be taken for an authentic documentary, a mockumentary (also known as mock documentary), depicts a fictitious story or hare-brained ideas. This event also features a creation contest in which five teams of video artists will have to make a mockumentary in the region surroundings within 72 hours.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend special presentations, such as after hours. Special activities are also planned, like a Cine-Brunch that is sure to appeal to the whole family and a conference for the artists.
