Réserve faunique La Vérendrye

Open from May to September

A Barely-Touched Territory

The réserve faunique La Vérendrye spreads over two tourist regions: the Outaouais and the Abitibi-Témiscamingue. More than 4,000 lakes dot the territory and make this wildlife reserve a paradise for canoe-camping and fishing lovers. Numerous rivers also meander through the reserve, which allows fishers to catch the biggest fish.

Hunters will also have their share, because once fall comes, the forests abound with big and small game. Outdoor lovers will surely like their stay in the réserve faunique La Vérendrye, where you can walk along many interpretation paths or sleep in one of the 1,250 campground sites, or in a chalet.
